Job summary
RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a busy manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reducing downtime to sustain continuous operations on automotive-quality plastic components.
The candidate should have 3+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical/electronics, with additional 24VDC sensor and 480VAC electrical equipment know-how.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience in mechanical/hydraulic and electrical/electronics.
- Experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing.
- Experience diagnosing Keyence SR scanners and Keyence vision sensors.
- Familiarity with 24VDC sensors and 480VAC electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance and work order service on machines.
- Clean machines and parts, remove and reinstall as necessary.
- Oil and lubricate moving parts for effective performance.
- Record and report damaged parts.
- Install replacement parts for machines.
- Prepare reports documenting work performed.
- Maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
- May assist with new or removed equipment.
- Perform building and ground duties (e.g., basic plumbing, snow removal).
