Job summary

Our Client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep production lines running smoothly. You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime in a high-volume automotive components environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with mechanical/hydraulic and electrical/electronic systems, and the ability to configure Keyence scanners and vision sensors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven industrial manufacturing maintenance experience in mechanical/hydraulic and electrical/electronics.
• Prior experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably automotive.
• Proficiency with Keyence SR fixed mount barcode scanners.
• Proficiency with Keyence IV/IV2/IV3 vision sensors.

Responsibilities

• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns and repair machines quickly.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service work on machines.
• Clean, oil, lubricate, and reinstall machine parts as needed.
• Record, report, and replace damaged parts and components.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed and inventory used.
• Possibly assist with new or removed equipment.
• Perform basic building and ground duties.
