Job summary
Sun Recruiting, Inc. represents a rapidly growing plastics and automotive components manufacturer in Grand Rapids, MI, seeking a Maintenance Technician. You will ensure reliability of production equipment, troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime on the 3rd shift.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in mechanical/hydraulic and electrical/electronics.
- Experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing.
- Experience with Keyence equipment troubleshooting and sensors.
- Knowledge of safety relays, interlocks, and machine safety.
Responsibilities
- Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Repair machines quickly and efficiently.
- Perform preventive maintenance and work orders on machines.
- Clean and reinstall machine parts as needed.
- Oil and lubricate moving parts for optimal performance.
- Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
- Install replacement parts for machines.
- Prepare reports documenting work performed.
- Maintain shop areas, inventory, and tools.
- Assist with new or removed equipment as needed.
- Perform building and ground duties including basic plumbing and snow removal.
- Follow organization standards.
