Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Maintenance & Skilled Trades professional to perform emergency and preventive maintenance on production equipment, collaborate on repairs and upgrades, and ensure safe operations. The role requires basic machining and welding, tool ownership, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others.
• Basic machining skills.
• Basic welding skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a group.
• Must own hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects
• Safely accomplish assigned tasks
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies
• Comply with safety regulations
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Other duties as assigned
