Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear seeks Maintenance Technicians with a strong mechanical background to troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and keep facilities safe and efficient. The role covers hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, and basic welding, with responsibilities across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a manufacturing or facilities maintenance role with hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and CNC machinery issues.
• Basic welding and metal fabrication skills useful for repairing or modifying equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment and machine issues to identify root causes and minimize downtime.
• Repair machinery and perform scheduled maintenance as needed.
• Maintain facilities equipment and work area for safety and efficiency.
• Perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems across sites.
• Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures.
