Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear, a global leader in mechanical power transmission components, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Mansfield, TX. You will diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life.

Join a safety‑conscious team, work on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems up to 480V, and contribute to facility upkeep while documenting repairs and collaborating with peers on the shop floor.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years in manufacturing or facilities maintenance with hands-on troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Basic welding and metal fabrication skills.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC machines.
Ability to work with 110V, 220V, and 480V electrical systems.
Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy components.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
Willingness to work overtime and adhere to company policies.

Responsibilities

Diagnose equipment and machinery issues to identify root causes and reduce downtime.
Repair machinery and perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
Maintain facilities equipment, tools, and work areas for safety and efficiency.
Conduct maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems across sites.
Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
Document all repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used for records.
Assist in other departments to support production and facility needs.
