Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a maintenance mechanic to join our manufacturing team in Charlotte, NC. You will troubleshoot and repair critical equipment, install piping and hydraulic systems, and maintain safety standards on high-speed packaging lines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical maintenance degree preferred and 2+ years of metal manufacturing experience. Overtime and on-call shifts may be required to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree in maintenance-related field preferred.
• 2+ years experience as a maintenance mechanic in metal manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP/ISO9001 standards for metals manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with PLCs, welding, cutting, and power transmission is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery including slitters, collectors, welders, conveyors, and palletizers.
• Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Repair gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
• Perform building maintenance including plumbing and welding.
• Log labor and parts in the CMMS system per guidelines.
• Adhere to safety policies, PPE requirements, and risk controls.
