Job summary

ADM Animal Nutrition is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at the Effingham, IL production facility. The role is hourly with a 8:00PM–6:30AM schedule, Monday–Thursday, with possible overtime.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, welding and equipment installation to ensure seamless production operations. Candidates must be able to work in varied environmental conditions, pass a background check, and maintain thorough maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair plant mechanical equipment and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative and emergency maintenance; purchase parts and supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of production processes and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment and record work performed.
• Install new equipment and make electrical connections for production use.
• Develop knowledge of maintenance files, parts and vendors; access info in department system.
• Perform welding as needed to repair production equipment.
• Document time and parts used via the RCI system; maintain maintenance records.
