Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Houston, TX to keep manufacturing and facility operations running smoothly.

You will perform light electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic maintenance, support preventative maintenance, and assist with equipment troubleshooting and repairs. The role requires strong teamwork, problem solving, reading electrical schematics, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in facility maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement remedies.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Ability to perform mechanical work on conveyors, motors, and related equipment.
Excellent communication and team-oriented skills.
Adherence to plant safety and 5S SOPs.

Responsibilities

Maintain machinery and meet maintenance requirements for 480-volt, 3 phase systems to minimize downtime.
Install and repair electrical systems as needed.
Support, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain conveyor systems.
