Job summary

Kohl's seeks a Maintenance Technician to promote workplace efficiency by maintaining, inspecting and repairing facilities, equipment and machinery at its site. You will perform daily inspections of conveyors and essential systems and coordinate with contractors as needed.

The role requires basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment, adherence to MSDS standards and lock-out/tag procedures, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while bringing your own basic

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipment.
• Compliance with MSDS standards and lock-out/tag procedures.
• Ability to climb ladders and run power equipment.
• Must provide own basic set of tools and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection and repair of conveyor systems and equipment.
• Routine inspection and maintenance of air compressors, generators, conveyors and handling equipment.
• Inspect and repair fire protection equipment.
• Parts administration and inventory support.
• Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs, painting and office moves.
• Routine maintenance on heating and air conditioning units.
• Maintain lighting throughout the facility.
• Sort and load pallets and materials for recycling.
• Assist outside contractors with tasks as needed.
• Promptly respond to jams, malfunctions or maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with maintenance team to prioritize issues.
