Job summary

GEDIA Georgia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair welding and joining production equipment, complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and follow safety guidelines in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong communication across all levels, the ability to interpret technical documents and electrical schematics, and a focus on eliminating downtime through root-cause analysis

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience maintaining and repairing production equipment in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Fanuc robots preferred and joining equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair welding, joining, and related production equipment.
• Read and execute work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Escalate issues by creating work orders for extra support.
• Ensure repairs prevent repeat breakdowns and maintain cleanliness.
• Support continuous improvement and root-cause analysis.
