Job summary

Sigma is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep equipment, systems, and production areas operating safely and efficiently. You’ll diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a range of machinery, read technical diagrams, and coordinate with supervisors on more complex repairs.

This on-site role requires experience with electrical systems and welding, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of industrial or facility maintenance experience.
• Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and welding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, solutions-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and welding systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, including control systems.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, lubricate, and replace machine parts.
• Weld and repair structures, machinery, tanks, valves, and sheet metal.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Ensure all maintenance work meets OSHA and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding repairs beyond scope.
