Job summary

Fort Wayne Metals Research Products LLC is seeking a Maintenance Tech for the 3rd shift to handle welding, machining, electrical and general maintenance tasks in a fast-paced, HVAC-controlled environment.

The role requires mechanical skills, basic computer use, and at least 2 years in industrial maintenance, with lathe experience preferred. Day-one PTO/holiday eligibility and shift premium pay for 2nd/3rd shifts are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency, required.
• Associate's degree in related technical area, preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the industrial maintenance field.
• Minimum 1 year of lathe experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical, welding, basic machining maintenance and service AC/DC drives.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Maintain and record parts inventories and prepare lists for ordering.
• Prioritize maintenance work orders by priority levels (low/medium/high).
• Record work orders accurately in the system.
• Troubleshoot machines for operation issues and perform general upkeep.
• Install piping and electrical power for new or moved equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Production Coordinators to meet goals.
