Job summary

ASTEMO INDIANA, INC. is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician II to uphold the reliability and uptime of manufacturing equipment on the 3rd shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and execute repairs to minimize downtime and safeguard product quality.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, familiarity with PLCs/robotics, and strong record-keeping to document maintenance activities. Safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years work-related experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment, according to maintenance schedules and guidelines.
• Replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, or sensors.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical problems or abnormalities in the machines.
• Collaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
• Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with the machinery, as well as comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment is operating within legal and safety parameters.
• Provide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptions.
