Job summary

ASTEMO INDIANA, INC. is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician II to ensure reliable operation of equipment, perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs to minimize downtime and optimize production quality on the 1st shift in the new IPM department.

The role requires adherence to safety protocols, maintaining maintenance records, and collaboration with production teams. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of related experience, and knowledge

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years work-related experience
Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment, according to maintenance schedules and guidelines
Replace or repair defective parts such as; belts, bearings, motors, or sensors
Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical problems or abnormalities in the machines
Collaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolve complex technical problems
Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with the machinery, as well as comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment is operating within legal and safety parameters
Provide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptions
