Job summary

1440 Foods Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift to oversee daily maintenance operations at the Jeffersonville facility. You will lead technicians, manage preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment reliability to sustain production.

This role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and the ability to plan repairs, track downtime, and maintain clear records while collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team: lead, train, and manage technicians; schedule and assign tasks; provide guidance.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for machinery and equipment.
• Oversee diagnosis, repair, and modification of facility equipment including conveyors, refrigeration systems, boilers.
• Enforce safety protocols to comply with OSHA, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Manage spare parts inventory, budget, and cost-control for maintenance.
• Support planning and execution of facility improvement projects and capital projects.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and generate reports for management.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
