Insteel Industries is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift (10pm-6am) in Hazle Township, PA. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial mechanical systems and equipment, fabricating parts as needed during overhaul or setup, and ensuring parts fit within tight tolerances.

The role requires reading mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and applying Lockout/Tagout and safety practices to minimize risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of industrial machinery maintenance experience.
• Broad technical training (high school plus 1–2 years apprenticeship or trades training).
• Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience in manufacturing; multi-craft preferred.
• Equivalents in education and work experience may be acceptable.
• Experience with CMMS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain industrial automation machinery and robotics.
• Inspect equipment for proper operation and integrity.
• Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Troubleshoot components and diagnose system failures.
• Operate with safety and ALARA principles.
• Work independently to complete tasks.
