Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanics to perform a variety of repairs, installations, and preventivemaintenance tasks on facility equipment and utilities. A $1,000 sign-on bonus accompanies the role, with a $2 shift differential for the overnight shift.

Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing machinery, carpentry work, inspections, and keeping logs. The ideal candidate has at least four years in maintenance and basic math/reading skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years experience in maintenance field.
Basic math skills.
Basic reading and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment throughout facility.
Perform general carpentry work and repairs to building and grounds.
Perform inspections of equipment and machines and make necessary repairs.
Maintain log of maintenance performed on machinery and equipment.
Respond to maintenance request items as assigned by supervisor.
Operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintain clean and safe work environment using correct tools properly.
