Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking two 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanics to perform repairs, equipment maintenance, and building upkeep. The role includes general carpentry, floor repairs and routine inspections to ensure lubrication and safe operation of plant systems.

Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years in maintenance, basic math and reading skills, and knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, machine servicing, electrical skills and pneumatics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years experience in maintenance field.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment throughout facility.
• Perform general carpentry work and repairs to building and grounds.
• Perform inspections of equipment and machines and make necessary repairs as directed.
• Maintain log of maintenance performed on machinery and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance request items as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment using correct tools properly.
