Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift to keep plant machinery and facilities running smoothly. You will perform repairs, installations, and routine maintenance on equipment, building and utility systems, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

This role requires general carpentry, welding, plumbing, electrical tasks and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years experience in maintenance field.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment throughout facility.
• Perform general carpentry work and repairs to building and grounds.
• Perform inspections of equipment and machines and make necessary repairs as directed.
• Maintain log of maintenance performed on machinery and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance request items as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment using correct tools properly.
