Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanics to perform repairs, installations, and routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems. A $2 shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Expected to maintain records, inspect equipment, and operate tools safely in a paint manufacturing environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years in maintenance, with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry,

Qualifications

4+ years of maintenance experience.
Basic math skills.
Basic reading and comprehension.
Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, machine servicing, electrical skills and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

Maintain, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment throughout facility.
Perform general carpentry work and repairs to building and grounds.
Perform inspections of equipment and machines and make necessary repairs as directed.
Maintain log of maintenance performed on machinery and equipment.
Respond to maintenance request items as assigned by supervisor.
Operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintain clean and safe work environment using correct tools properly.
