Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanic to perform repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and utilities. The role includes a $2 shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus, with responsibilities across plumbing, carpentry, painting, and machine servicing.

Candidate will work with minimal supervision, maintain records, and ensure safe operation of equipment in a paint manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years experience in maintenance field.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment throughout facility.
• Perform general carpentry work and repairs to building and grounds.
• Perform inspections of equipment and machines and make necessary repairs as directed.
• Maintain log of maintenance performed on machinery and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance request items as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment using correct tools properly.
