Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Position Location: Waukesha, WI 53189

Position Hours: 2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm M-F or 3rd Shift 10:00pm - 6:30am Sun - Thurs

Shift Premium: 17% for 2nd shift, 13% for 3rd shift

Position Wage: Starting at $25 per hour (plus based on experience)

Job Description:

A Maintenance Mechanic's responsibilities include keeping all production machinery in a "ready for service" condition by performing preventative maintenance, as scheduled by our maintenance management software, as well as addressing day-to-day maintenance issues.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Repair & maintain all plant machinery & equipment
2. Diagnose machine malfunctions & operating difficulties
3. Determine need for & effect machine repairs & adjustments to maintain reliable operation
4. Complete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc.
5. Ensure plant organization & cleanliness

Qualifications/Requirements:

• All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test & background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Acquire/maintain forklift certification
• 2+ years prior factory work preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math knowledge
• English reading proficiency
