Job summary

NIBCO in Stuarts Draft, VA is seeking an Electrician 3rd Shift to maintain electrical systems and controls across manufacturing processes. You will troubleshoot, repair, and occasionally design or upgrade systems while coordinating with area managers to maximize throughput.

The role requires strong PLC, motor and VFD knowledge, plus solid reading of technical drawings and a commitment to safety and accuracy in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience with industrial power and control systems.
• High school diploma or GED; vocational training or associate degree in industrial power.
• Proficient with PLC, analog and digital control systems; able to read technical drawings.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot and repair electrical systems and controls.
• Occasional design and build of new systems.
• Occasional modifications and upgrades to older systems.
• Prioritize workload with area managers to maintain maximum throughput.
• Perform all duties safely and follow all safety guidelines.
• Participate in safety programs as needed.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned
