Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment across our pork processing facility. The role requires working 3rd shift and adapting to a cold, damp or hot environment while following Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include repairing conveyor lines, trolley systems, rendering machinery, hydraulics, welding, and basic electrical work. Strong reading and documentation skills, plus ability to train toward level 7.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year on-the-job training or equivalent experience.
• Experience in two of the following areas: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, PLC, welding, or related maintenance fields.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment and assets across production areas.
• Operate in a cold, damp, hot and humid environment while following safety policies.
• Read manuals and document work on scheduling sheets; complete computer-based training.
