Job summary

Tyson Foods currently has an opening for a 2ND SHIFT maintenance technician. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing facility equipment while upholding safety and Tyson policies. Expect handling hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyors, welding, and pneumatic systems, plus daily reporting.

The position offers shifts with progression based on training and demonstrated skills, with six-day operation and a potential for overtime.

Qualifications

Must submit a resume to be considered.
High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic repair preferred.
Minimum 12 consecutive months in maintenance-related work in the previous 18 months.
Ability to work without direct supervision and manage time.
Willingness to serve on Emergency Response and Fire Fighting Teams.
Willingness to complete required daily documentation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets.
Perform work involving hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyors and welding.
Set up, adjust, and break down production machinery; perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
Read equipment manuals and complete daily reports and paperwork.
