Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist MG05U for the Forest, MS area to support 3rd shift operations. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and ensure food safety.

Strong adherence to Tyson policies and safety culture is essential. Responsibilities include preventive/corrective maintenance, repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems, and documentation of

Qualificações

1 year maintenance experience within the past 2 years.
Experience with plant equipment and safety requirements is preferred.

Responsabilidades

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
Repair and replace motors, pumps, bearings, shafts, conveyors, augers, couplings, steam and water lines.
Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and minor electrical repairs.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.
Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, forklifts, and other maintenance equipment as trained and certified.
Support emergency repairs and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
Perform additional duties as assigned by maintenance leadership.
