Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde is seeking a 3rd shift maintenance support technician in Ohio. You will assist the maintenance supervisor with coordinating PM activities, parts requisition, and inventory management for the machine shop.

The role requires basic electrical repair skills, familiarity with SRM, and ability to operate Microsoft Office. CDL is preferred, with potential for overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with SRM system and office software is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC basics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize planned maintenance activities for the machine shop.
• Assist in parts identification and requisition issuance in SRM system.
• Maintain inventory and replenishment program for maintenance cribs (RRM and ABP).
• Repair minor electrical issues (110v/120v) and office HVAC/plumbing.
• Communicate needs with supervisor and coordinate with outside vendors.
• Work proficiently in Microsoft Office and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Possibly work overtime or weekends as needed.
• Perform 5S in all focus areas and support cost-reduction efforts.
• Conduct safety audits when required.
