Job summary

Rittal LLC in Urbana, Ohio seeks a Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will contribute to preventive maintenance, safety programs, and continuous improvement to ensure equipment reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment, including conveyors, compressors, motors, and pumps.
Complete corrective maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
Set up and operate welders, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking equipment.
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating boom lifts.
Support and participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
Maintain 5S workplace organization standards throughout the facility.
Assist in identifying equipment issues and recommending corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
