Job summary

LiDestri Foods is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) in Rochester, NY. The role focuses on safely operating manufacturing machinery, ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include machine setup, operation, changeovers, troubleshooting, GMP adherence, and SOP execution. Candidates with forklift experience and LOTO certification are a plus, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE (hard hat, gloves, eyewear).
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Forklift experience and LOTO certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery including setup, operation, changeovers and troubleshooting; detect defects and adjust as needed.
• Maintain GMP around machinery and follow sanitation standards.
• Perform SOPs for machinery in the assigned area.
• Cross-train or train on equipment as directed by the manager.
• Maintain and issue raw materials into assigned work orders.
• Report food safety and quality problems to the appropriate personnel.
