LiDestri Foods, Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a Machine Operator for the 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM). Safely operate machinery to maximize efficiency while maintaining product quality and adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred, ability to wear PPE, basic math, and proficiency with hand tools. Forklift experience and a continuous improvement mindset are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, including setup, operation, changeovers, and troubleshooting to detect product defects or machine malfunctions.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery.
• Perform SOPs for machinery in assigned area.
• Cross training or training on equipment as defined by manager.
• Maintain and issue raw materials into assigned work orders.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain good attendance per company policy.
• Report food safety and quality problems to authorized personnel.
