Job summary

Luxfer Cylinders in Riverside, CA is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (9:30pm-6am or 10:30pm-7am). The role involves starting up, operating, monitoring, and safely shutting down machines per SOPs, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts, inspecting quality with specified tools, performing routine setups and minor troubleshooting, and making adjustments to optimize output. A strong emphasis on 5S and safe work practices is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required/preferred.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds; tolerate a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and shut down machines safely per SOPs.
• Load unfinished parts and unload finished parts.
• Check part quality using measurement tools.
• Perform routine setup and minor troubleshooting.
• Adjust machines to optimize performance and quality.
• Maintain 5S in work area and follow safety rules.
• Support other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
