Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Owatonna, MN is hiring a Machine Operator on our 3rd Shift to set up and operate a variety of production equipment for components of premium fitness equipment, with a four-day workweek from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM.

Base pay is $19.00-$22.13 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour 3rd-shift differential and eligibility for a Production Bonus Plan; full-time benefits include a 401(k) with 4% employer match, medical/dental/vision, PTO, on-site fitness center, and more.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on work.
• Ability to read measurements and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to operate hand tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and production equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow production documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple setups and operate equipment such as manual punch press, shears, saws, drill press, timesaver, wash, and tumbler.
• Inspect parts to verify mechanical tolerances and engineering specifications.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep a clean work area.
• Complete required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned
