Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Ramsey, MN is seeking a production technician to operate robots, load/unload fixtures, and monitor weld quality.

Daily duties include setting up jobs, inspecting parts, removing weld spatter, tagging rework, and reporting shortages or quality issues to supervisors.

The position offers overtime eligibility, a second-shift differential of $2.00/hour, and a full benefits package including a 401(k) match and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate robots and monitor robot while running.
• Set up and tear down jobs by loading and unloading fixtures.
• Load and unload parts.
• Perform a visual quality inspection of parts.
• Ensure quality of welds.
• Remove weld spatter using chisel and/or grinder as necessary.
• Tag completed rework jobs appropriately.
• Perform daily equipment inspection.
• Advise supervisor or lead of shortages or poor quality materials/products.
• Operate cart caddy and hoist.
