Job summary

Brady is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in Milwaukee. The role focuses on operating equipment to produce defect-free products that meet customer specs, following standard work and policies. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time on-site position at Brady’s Milwaukee facility.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including email, MS Office, and data entry.
• Basic math skills for production measurements.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand 80–100% of shift.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical and analytical aptitude for operating equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written directions.
• Detail-oriented with strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to read a ruler within 1/64".

Responsibilities

• Follow schedule boards and hourly production targets.
• Print and produce product to match order specifications; perform hand finishing as required.
• Conduct pre-run inspections and quality checks; monitor quality and quantity during runs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely according to procedures.
• Work from standard work instructions and established procedures.
• Address routine inquiries; escalate complex issues to supervisors.
• Communicate updates to different shifts about current jobs and issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
