Job summary

Brady is hiring a Machine Operator for the night shift at our Glendale, WI plant. The role focuses on weighing and mixing raw materials, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality to meet production goals.

A $4.00 shift premium and a $5,000 sign-on bonus accompany the position. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in manufacturing, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Basic math and computer skills (Email, MS Office, G Suite).
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexible in schedule to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs repeatedly and stand 100% of shift.
• Ability to read a micrometer accurately within 0.0005”.

Responsibilities

• Weighing and mixing raw materials following batch instructions.
• Work with hazardous materials utilizing engineering controls and PPE.
• Learn and contribute to Lean/5S/CI methodologies.
• Set up, clean, and safely operate production equipment; perform operator maintenance.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting daily/weekly production goals.
• Follow standard work documents and perform equipment adjustments as needed.
• Communicate production performance to leaders and departments.
• Support continuous improvement projects on teams.
• Adhere to attendance, safety, and Brady policies.
• Maintain clean production areas and assist other areas as needed.
