Job summary

IDEMIA Secure Transactions is seeking a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to lead production teams in Exton, PA. You will oversee lean manufacturing activities, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across the line.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, training, coaching, and coordinating with operations management to meet production goals, while applying problem solving and root-cause analysis techniques. ISO procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of practical experience in lead or supervisory role managing production processes and hourly employees.
• Associates Degree is preferred
• Experience with plastic substrates (printing, lamination, mechanical punch equipment)
• 1 year + of Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and listening skills

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement Lean manufacturing concepts (5S, TPM, Six Sigma, Setup Reduction).
• Manage 20–25 production employees according to policies (attendance, e-time, safety, etc.).
• Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance.
• Schedule and coordinate flow of work within and between production cells.
• Understand and monitor production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Enforce safety and quality standards and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintain time and production records and report status to management.
• Collaborate with Production Manager and Director of Operations on goals and ISO procedures.
• Support Lean line initiatives and problem-solving activities across teams.
