Job summary

McCormick & Company is hiring a Lab Technician III for our Lakewood, New Jersey plant on the 3rd shift. You will audit materials, test attributes, and record results in our ERP system, ensuring quality and compliance across production lines.

Responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment, performing microbiological swabs where needed, and supporting continuous improvement while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data and procedures.
• Must be able to use SAP, X3 and MS Office, and apply basic SPC principles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work across three shifts.

Responsibilities

• Audit raw materials and packaging to ensure specifications and retain samples.
• Test materials for color, texture, flavor, and other attributes; record results.
• Perform ERP transactions for inventory release, rejection, and holding.
• Maintain documentation for specifications and Certificates of Analysis.
