Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking a full-time Quality Lab Crew Leader to oversee B-shift lab duties, ensure quality standards, and coach team members. You will perform analytical, chemical, and physical tests on raw materials and finished goods, participate in sensory sessions, and drive improvements in process reliability.

The role requires a high school or equivalent, plus 3 years of manufacturing experience or more, with strong communication and proficiency in lab equipment calibration.

Qualifications

• Must understand lab equipment operation and calibration.
• Experience with quality control in food manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs and GLPs is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report food safety and quality concerns.
• Lead shift performance to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Coordinate quarantine and quality notifications; respond to sample requests.
• Perform analytical testing and record results in SAP.
• Conduct sensory testing and release products as appropriate.
• Training and coaching of team members; ensure procedures are followed.
