Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Lab Technician in Indianapolis, IN, to perform analytical testing in a 3rd shift, 6 PM–6 AM schedule as a contract-to-hire role. You will follow established procedures under supervision, handling samples, documentation, and reporting across departments.

The role requires a 2-year degree or comparable lab experience, familiarity with GCMS/ICP/GC, and working in a safety-conscious lab environment. Onsite position with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year college degree or certificate in laboratory science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab analysis including test parameters on all sample types and any additional testing as required.
• Ensure accurate written and electronic documentation and reporting.
• Communicate with multiple departments through written and electronic methods.
• Utilize safe work practices and adhere to all facility safety policies.
• Understand and execute emergency response duties, including opening the 10th St. gate.
• Maintain a clean and organized lab, free from hazards, and assist with proper sample and waste disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Lab Manager, Lab Supervisors, or Lab Technicians.
