Actalent is hiring an Associate Lab Technician for our Indianapolis, IN clinical testing lab. The role focuses on high-volume diagnostic testing under supervision, preparing samples, managing reagents, and maintaining automation across multiple analyzers.

You will train on each analyzer with a structured program and contribute to continuous workflow improvements, while upholding safety and regulatory standards in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Life Science or MLT/ASCP/CLS training.
• Foundational biology, chemistry, or related lab science knowledge.
• Experience with sample prep and management in clinical labs.
• Ability to perform diagnostic testing on automated analyzers.
• Willingness to work evening/night shifts and high-throughput testing.
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic clinical testing under supervision following regulations.
• Prepare samples, label, process, and centrifuge during high volume periods.
• Operate up to four analyzers; handle 500–1500 samples per analyzer per night.
• Prepare reagents and maintain inventory; calibrate instruments as needed.
• Document test runs and maintenance; support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with trainers and leadership.
