Job summary

Aerotek in Wooster, OH is seeking a skilled 3rd shift Journeyman Electrician to maintain production machines and support continuous operation on a 8:30pm-6:00am schedule. You will troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, read blueprints, and perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of maintenance experience with electrical, pneumatic and mechanical skills.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Journeyman card or equivalent with completed robotics/electrical/PLC coursework.
• Experience with automated equipment and machinery.
• Programming experience with Siemens or Rockwell PLCs.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Job Title: 3rd Shift Journeyman Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our maintenance team on the 3rd shift (8:30pm-6:00am). You will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of our production machines. Your expertise will ensure the reliability of our equipment, contributing to our longstanding tradition of operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Journeyman card or equivalent with completed courses in Robotics/Electrical/PLC.
• Experience with automated equipment and machinery.
• Programming experience (Siemens, Rockwell).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with servo systems, machine vision, and robotics is a plus.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or an equivalent number of years of education and maintenance experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This role is on a 3rd shift schedule, with the expectation to work 45-55 hours per week depending on business volume. Certain tasks require hearing protection, and employees may work in areas with fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration, where appropriate personal protection equipment must be worn. Physical demands include regularly lifting 30-50 pounds, performing repetitive tasks, and requiring specific vision abilities. The work environment involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $62000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
