Job summary

IAC Group in Arlington, TX is seeking a results-driven supervisor to oversee the injection molding floor, ensuring production targets and schedules are met. You will manage processes, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture.

The role requires a engineering degree (or 5+ years in related fields) and clear communication skills. Candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 5 years’ experience in a related field required.
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in PC knowledge.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-directed, detail-oriented, reliable, and strong initiative.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Crane/hoist certification preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily injection molding operations to meet schedules and targets.
• Manage production processes, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Lead and mentor team members; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Drive continuous improvement through 5S, 8-D, and 5 Whys.
• Train staff on procedures, paperwork, and records.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and PPE usage.
• Coordinate cross-functional tasks within the department.
• Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
