IAC Group in Arlington, TX is seeking a permanent, full-time Tool/Mold Maker for the 3rd shift (10pm-6am). The role involves setting up and operating precision tooling equipment, mold repair, and leading mold-related projects to ensure quality and timely completion.

Qualified candidates will have 5-10 years of mold-making experience, strong knowledge of molding processes, and the ability to train apprentices.

Qualifikationen

• Broad knowledge of molding and injection mold repair.
• 5-10 years of mold-making, repair, and maintenance experience.
• Strong experience with stoning and polishing mold components.

Aufgaben

• Sets up and operates lathes, milling machines, electrical discharge machines, and surface and cylindrical grinders.
• Tool assembly/disassembly.
• Mold repair and maintenance including Red Tag work order processing.
• Instructs other toolmakers and apprentices in the operation and set up of tool room equipment.
• Welding Tig/MiG and micro-welding.
• Constructs injection molds from basic to high complexity.
• Completes engineering changes and revisions to injection molds.
• Repairs injection mold cavities and cores due to damage or wear.
• Builds fixtures and gages as needed.
• Observes health and safety requirements and maintains a neat work area.
• Performs reasonably related duties as assigned.
