Job summary
MOHR Talent is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Moncks Corner, SC. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve heavy steel-processing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, focusing on reliability and uptime.
This hands-on role covers conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission equipment. You will read mechanical drawings, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with electrical technicians on major
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
- Experience with conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair heavy industrial equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Read mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Align motors, pumps, and gearboxes; replace bearings and seals.
- Support installations and continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate with electrical tech during major repairs.
