Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Hodges, SC facility. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency. Proactive problem solving and CMMS documentation are essential.

The role requires experience in heavy industrial maintenance, familiarity with electrical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and teamwork to keep operations running smoothly on the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance.
• Preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors and production machines.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and document repairs in CMMS.
• Assist external maintenance teams as required on-site.
• Support spare parts storeroom and equipment availability.
