Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Full-Time | Direct Hire | 3rd Shift

Are you an experienced industrial mechanic who enjoys figuring out why equipment failed—not just replacing the part and moving on?

We’re seeking an Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve heavy steel-processing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on mechanical role supporting critical production equipment, reducing downtime, and improving long‑term reliability.

What You’ll Work On

• Steel processing and slitting equipment
• Heavy-duty conveyors and material-handling systems
• Gearboxes, pumps, motors, bearings, shafts, chains, sprockets, and couplings
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Rotating and power-transmission equipment
• Industrial lubrication systems
• Overhead cranes and heavy material-handling equipment

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial mechanical equipment
• Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic system failures
• Perform precision alignment of motors, pumps, and gearboxes
• Replace bearings, seals, shafts, rollers, and mechanical assemblies
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance
• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and minor machining
• Read mechanical drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
• Partner with electrical technicians during major repairs and installations

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission equipment
• Steel processing, stamping, or heavy manufacturing experience preferred
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA and Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery, at heights, and in industrial environments
