Job summary

CertainTeed, a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, is seeking an on-site Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on production and facility equipment during the 3rd shift.

You will read manuals and schematics, diagnose faults, repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and use tools and machines. Experience with Fanuc robotics is preferred.

A high school diploma or GED and an Industrial Maintenance certificate or 5+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Industrial Maintenance certificate or 5+ years’ experience in general industrial maintenance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and PLC.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and related drawings and diagrams.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze non-standard situations (troubleshoot) and implement effective actions, adjustments and/or repairs.
• Experience with Fanuc robotic programming and troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production equipment and other facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repair of production equipment during production time.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment, machines and other systems within the facility.
• Perform maintenance repairs including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and others appropriate to the task at hand.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, prints, diagrams, work orders and other documents to perform needed maintenance or service.
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments.
