Job summary

Maintenance technician role in an industrial environment requires completing a 1-year technical certificate and at least 2 years of related experience. The qualified candidate will perform preventive maintenance on CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and repair machinery, electrical components, and piping.

Team-focused with Lean Six Sigma initiatives and COS participation. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, reading drawings, and updating management on repair status.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school plus 2 years related experience or equivalent training.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Install, maintain and repair machinery and electrical systems in an industrial setting.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and diagnose problems.
• Dismantle and replace defective parts; test and verify repairs.
• Maintain 5-S standards and COS initiatives; participate in lean projects.
• Work with management to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
