Pitney Bowes is hiring an on-site Industrial Maintenance Technician for the Charlotte, NC Presort Services facility. The role is full-time, 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 11:45PM–8:15AM EST) with hourly pay of $30–$40 and potential overtime.

You will repair conveyor systems and PLCs, perform preventive maintenance, and respond quickly to downtime events to keep mail-sort equipment running smoothly. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on experience, can read schematics, use a multimeter, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyor machines, PLC systems and electromechanical production equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and parts diagrams; proficient with Windows PC in automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs of conveyor machines and PLC systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and installations on industrial machinery.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Utilize inventory, PM schedules, and work orders to reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts inventory using EAM.
